“12 centuries of Japanese calligraphy: from the 8th to the 21st century”. This was the name of the Day of Japanese writing held in the Contemporary museum of calligraphy. The well-know calligraphers belonging to the Shodo school Hirose Syoko and Takefusa Sashida surprised the audience with their high skills. Over 60 lovers of calligraphy came to enjoy this ancient art, which is considered the finest in Japan. |
